Velvet ropes create a visual boundary around an arrival lane, photo area or curated display. Pair their colour with the carpet and metal finish with the surrounding décor. Include both sides of an entrance in your plan when estimating the number of runs.

Plan the installation.

Rope length is not the same as installed post spacing: the intended drape and fitting geometry affect each span. Confirm compatible hooks and post rings, the number of end points and whether posts are included. For exterior arrivals, discuss weather exposure and an indoor alternative. Ropes are decorative guidance and should not be used where crowd pressure requires a protective barrier.
